Voting Day

Today was a special day, I went and voted (at least I tried but found out I wasn't old enough).  But my mom voted and I laid under the table quietly and waited until she was done.  I was a very patient dog.

I thought since I was not old enough to vote, that maybe glasses would make me older.  Don't I look smart?

Halloween

Today Mom dressed me up in a couple of costumes.  She put a mask on me and I didn't even mind.  Don't I make a good cat I mean dog burglar?

But can you guess what I actually dressed up as for the costume party at Emily's school?

If you guessed a Watch Dog you are correct!!
Here are some pictures mom took of me, enjoy

I also went to a costume party at PAWS class and had a great time.  There were so many cool costumes, even my sisters dressed up as ladybugs.

Westview Orchards

Today the SEMI (southeastern office) had an outing at Westview Orchards.  It rained all morning and the event was cancelled, but some still visited the orchard anyways.  Haley was very interested in the farm animals and all the new sounds they make and new smells.

Caught this picture with Juno and Haley sleeping in the sun and just couldn't resist posting it.  Juno is resting her head on Haley, how cute they look.

Haley's vet visit

Today I went to headquarters early to see the vet.  I don't know what getting spayed means only that I am hungry because mom wouldn't feed me this morning.  While I was sleeping at headquarters my mom went to see my doggie mom, Hope, and her owners.

This weekend was also the ArtPrize which has many art on display.  PAWS entered by creating a canvas which puppies at 4 weeks of age had paint on their feet and walked across, then again each week until they were 7 weeks of age.  Then a older dog pulled a wheelchair across the canvas.  The pictures was titled Steps Toward Independence.

Parade

Today I went to a homecoming parade for Utica High School.  Even though my family attends Stevenson High School, Erika marched in the parade.  I was standing right at the sidelines and could see all the cool floats, marching bands and cars go by.  People even threw candy from the cars I wanted to see what the candy was, but mom said I had to leave it.  I was a good girl and did well at the leave it exercise.

While I was watching the parade a police office, actually a Deputy Chief, of the city of Utica came by to talk to me and mom.  He thought I was the most beautiful dog and we took a picture with him.  I was on my best behavior at the parade and mom was so proud of me.  I am learning so many new things.

Waiting for the parade to start

6 months old

Tomorrow I will be 6 months old and I am getting so big.  I already weigh 45 pounds and still growing.  Today I have training class and mom took the opportunity to get some pictures of my brother, Harbor and sister, Henley.
