Parade Day

Today we went to a Memorial Parade in Sterling Heights.  Boy was it hot!! At times the parade was loud but I was not scared.  I was able to meet lots of people and I practiced my sit and stay.
Here is a picture of me and my sister Juno enjoying the parade.
It was so hot at the parade that I went under a chair to get some shade.
I am do glad that my mom brought tons of water for us to drink.  She even brought ice cubes.  Ice is one of my favorite treats....it keeps me cool and feels so good on my teeth.  When she poured the water in my bowl I would drink some and dump the rest of it on myself.

Today I turned 10 weeks old.  I am getting better at learning my name.  I am still learning the commands sit, down, and heel.  My mom makes me sit and stay before she gives me my food.  I am trying very hard to listen and did better today.  My housebreaking is going very well.  When I need to go to the bathroom I just sit at the back doorwall and my family lets me out and I get tons on praise for doing so.
This week I finally got enough courage to master the stairs in the house.  At first I would just go upstairs and be too afraid to come back down and my family would have to carry me.  This week I finally tried to go down the stairs all by myself and I DID IT!! I now am constantly going up and down the stairs.  I even found a new place to sleep.  The downstairs bathroom has some really cold tile and I sure enjoyed sleeping there today since it was so hot outside.  Can't wait until tomorrow for training class...I get to see my brother and sisters!!

Hot Dog!

Today I went shopping at Lowe's for a new BBQ.  We walked around the store quite a bit.  Anytime we stopped I laid down, the cold floor felt so good on my belly.  I took a quick break before paying for our BBQ
When I went back home it was so hot outside that a small pool was outside for us to cool off.  I was unsure what to do.  I thought it was just a huge water bowl at first.  Juno loved to hog the whole pool and lay down inside.
This sure is a big bowl of water

My feet feel so cooool

I even play catch with my sister, Juno.  She was so nice to me and let me have the frisbee a few times.
Flying Ears!

I needed to take a break though to chew on my foot and just rest.

Seeing Double

I am so excited to be sending the day with my sister, Henley.  We played all day long and had so much fun.

Shhhh. let me tell you a secret

We are too cute for words

Haley laughing at a joke that Henley told her

Mousse is thinking there are 2 of you?

We both went to Erika's track meet and quite a few heads turned because of our cuteness.  Some people thought they were seeing double.
We both are practicing our command sit and posing for the camera

First Training Class

Today I have my first training class at PAWS.  So many new puppies that all I want to do is play.
Here I am learning the command down and afterwards I get a treat, yummy!
I even get to see my sisters and brother.  Here is Henley learning down too.
Another command I need to learn is heel, which, Erika is teaching me now.
All this learning really makes me tired.  Is it time to go home yet?
Erika here is teaching me tummy time.  This is where I can relax and go to sleep.

Eight weeks old

Today I am 8 weeks old and boy am I having fun meeting all the animals in this house.
This is Satchmo and I like to follow him around.  He is so interesting!
I like to chew on Juno, she kinda reminds me of my mommy.  Juno doesn't like it too much but hasn't scolded me yet.

This past weekend I went to Bass Pro Shop at Great Lakes Crossing.  We walked the mall a bit.  Everyone thought I was such a cute puppy.  I think I do look cute in my tiny vest.
I sure was tired from all that walking.  Now for a quick puppy nap!

Finally here!

For anyone who guessed Ms. White is Haley.  She weighed a whopping 14 pounds.....what a porker.  She is so cute and cuddly.  It was great to be at the Troy office of PAWS and see the other puppy raisers pick up their "H" puppies.  I originally thought only 3 of the puppies would be down here but to a great surprise there is an additional H puppy named Harbor (Mr. Blue) so now Haley can play with her 2 sisters and 1 brother.  Her other brother Horton is placed with a raiser near headquarters.
Me and Haley at Troy office
Haley has had a busy day today.  She was separated from her siblings and went on a couple outings.  The first, we visited my husband, Scott, work and boy did Haley receive lots of loving.  She sure loved her car ride.
She then met the other dogs in the family...Juno and Mousse.  They did get along pretty well, minus the couple paw slap that Juno did on Haley's head.  She thought at first that Haley was a new toy for her.

She also visited my daughter's school.  The principal was so excited to meet Haley that we needed a kodak moment.

Afterwards we went to my oldest daughter's, Erika, track meet and that is when Haley finally decided to store up energy.
how precious

Finally we went home and she was able to play with the other dogs.  Juno (yellow lab) played keep away with her for quite some time.  Haley's ears were flopping around when she ran after Juno that I couldn't stop laughing.  Those two took a break and I couldn't resist such a cute picture.
Now she is done for the night, finding a nice bed to lay on.
I couldn't resist when I noticed that Haley's pad on her paws were all black except one.
too cute

Trip to Headquarters

Hey, where are we going??

Great poster picture!!

I would like to thank Hope, the puppies mom, for taking so good care and loving all of her little ones.  You have done such a great job.  I also like to thank the "grandparents" of the puppies, for giving them all your love, laughs, hugs and devotion to them. Thursday, I get an early Mother's Day present and I wondering which girl will be my foster pup.  Will it be Ms White, Ms Red or Ms Yellow?  Stay tuned for upcoming information!
